The Right Grill for your Barbecue

Barbecue is a mix of talents. There is the choice of meat (or in some cases vegetables), the creation and choice of sauce, and of course the flame. Once the components are gathered together, then the real talent starts with the maintenance of the flame, smoke, turnings and sauce applications.

Sureheat makes the Amana gas grill for the mass market. You can buy it for around $400 but if you shop around you might even do better than that.A recent event of great popularity was the one at the Pentagon, on October 7, "The Pentagon Brats & Music Festival", where funds were raised for the Pentagon Memorial Fund by selling lunches to the 23,000 employees of the Pentagon. Serving from Johnsonville's Big Taste Grill were Miss America, Miss Virginia and Washington Redskin Cheerleaders.Made from commercial grade stainless steel this grill is going to provide you with years of performance. It has as many as six individually controlled gas burners, built in rotisserie, and infrared back burner. There is more than 1100 square inches of cooking surface on these grills - now that's impressive!Altima is known for the quality grills they build and these grills have a reputation for their durability. But they not only last forever they look great too! The refined appearance is an Altima trademark. You'll find no visible bolts or welds or other seams that detract from the beauty of your grill. In fact it stands the Altima out from the rest.Inside you will find their exclusive fire brick lining. This provide superior heating - distributing the heat evenly and retaining the heat for much longer. It also offers traditional gas burners on the grill as well as infrared burners which are state of the art.Wild Black Cherry, is hard to get a hold of but offers a distinctively sweet and fruity smoke. Great with beef, poultry & game birds.Wild Apple is slightly sweet with a fruity smoke flavor. Used mainly for beef, poultry, game birds, and pork (particularly hams). The infrared burner which is mounted on the back of the grill gives you extra browning space and the rotisserie is there for you any time you need it.There are some pros and cons to the Amana Grill. It looks great with the stainless design and the pricing is definitely fine. It has a high BTU output so you'll have no problem cooking up any meal you want. The disadvantage is with the low price comes a low grade of stainless steel and there are many plastic parts. The metal is thin throughout so don't expect it to last forever. We are going to focus on the flame, and the types of flame sources for our barbecue. There are basically three main sources in use today: Wood, Charcoal, and Natural gas or propane. The choice and combination of woods burned result in different flavors imparted to the meat. Different types of wood burn at different temperatures. The heat also varies by the amount of wood and controlling the rate of burn through careful venting. The funds raised by sales at the grill are used for the benefit of local charities or non-profit organizations. Over the years, over 1.5 million dollars were raised for charities across the United States and Canada.Gas grills are significantly more expensive due to their added complexity, and higher heat. They are also considered much cleaner as they do not result in ashes (which must be disposed of) and also in terms of air pollution. Proper maintenance may further help reduce pollution. In fact Amana just might be the best kept secret in the grill market. But not for long. It's quickly gaining attention because it is so incredibly superior to many of the other grills on the market. And not only is it technologically advanced it is looks great with some of the best craftsmanship around. The Big Taste Grill is a sight itself: even those who are familiar with truck grills, seeing this one for the first time are impressed with its enormity and uniqueness. Thus a great opportunity is offered for people to contribute to preferred charities in a pleasant way.
